Electronic Invoicing within the Netherlands: Invoicing by way of e mail will save enterpreneurs ample half a billion

Starting from Monday 16 February, Companies in the Netherlands have been given permission by the tax administration to send invoices by e-mail. Previously this was prohibited by law. This will lead to administrative cost savings for entrepreneurs of app. 600 million euros per year, as has been computed by the section of finance. In addition, the tax administration will from now on accept e-invoices. This was announced by the deputy minister / secretary of finance Jan Kees de Jager (CDA)
